Information we collect

We limit collection to the information needed for the requested service.

• Ride or roadside request: name, telephone number, service, pickup and destination, requested time, and optional note.
• Contact form: name, email address, and message.
• Calls: caller and destination numbers, call time, status, and duration.
• Text verification: telephone number, verification time and status, and related technical data.
• Website protection and operation: network address, browser technical information, security tokens, error logs, and technical identifiers that are not directly readable.

Purposes and collection methods

Information entered in the forms is used to verify the request, contact you, plan the requested service, prevent abuse, and provide necessary follow-up. It is collected directly when you enter or submit a form, call, or communicate with Taxi Rive-Sud.

The service request and contact form work without promotional permission. Taxi Rive-Sud does not use these contact details for marketing without separate consent.

Providers and disclosures

Taxi Rive-Sud uses providers for website hosting and security, anti-bot verification, telephone and verification texts, address suggestions and route calculation, contact-form relay, and private operational communications. Only authorized people and providers needed to handle the request may receive the relevant information.

Google receives text entered when address suggestions are enabled and may receive addresses to calculate a route. Manual entry remains available. Cloudflare processes technical data needed for anti-bot verification. Telnyx processes the number and data needed for calls or text verification. Web3Forms processes contact-form content so it can be delivered to Taxi Rive-Sud.

Processing outside Quebec

Some international providers may process or retain information outside Quebec depending on their infrastructure and subprocessors. Laws in those jurisdictions may differ from Quebec law. Taxi Rive-Sud must assess these disclosures and put appropriate provider safeguards in place before entrusting personal information to them.

Cookies and similar technologies

The site supports optional audience measurement with Google Analytics 4 (GA4). It remains fully inactive without a valid GA4 identifier and, when an identifier is configured, no Analytics script or Analytics request is loaded before your explicit consent. Accepting or declining never blocks calling, requesting a ride, or using the contact form.

After you accept, Google may receive the public page address after unauthorized parameters are removed, certain standard advertising or campaign attribution parameters, page title, language, referrer, technical browser and device information, an approximate region derived from the network address, pseudonymous identifiers, and closed-value events such as a call click or form stage. The site does not send GA4 names, telephone numbers, email addresses, pickup or destination addresses, notes, messages, or values entered in forms.

Your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage so that the site does not ask on every visit. After acceptance, Google may create _ga and _ga_* cookies. Advertising features, Google signals, advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization remain denied by the site.

You may decline or withdraw at any time using the “Privacy preferences” control. Withdrawal blocks new measurement, and the site attempts to remove its GA4 cookies and Analytics state on that device. Data already received by Google then follows the retention and deletion procedures that apply to the Analytics account.

Necessary security or address services loaded during an interaction may use technical means needed for their operation under their own policies.

Retention and destruction

Taxi Rive-Sud retains information only for the time needed to handle the request, provide reasonable follow-up, prevent duplicates, and meet applicable obligations. Detailed periods and deletion procedures are recorded in an operational register reviewed periodically.

For 48 hours, the site retains a technical deduplication identifier, its status, and timestamp without the name, telephone number, addresses, or message. Provider periods also depend on their configurations and obligations; Taxi Rive-Sud must verify and limit them as needed.

When GA4 is enabled, the property is configured to retain user-level and event-level data for two months. Some standard aggregate reports may be retained longer by Google. The locally stored choice remains until you change it or clear browser data; GA4 cookies may otherwise last for up to two years.

Security

Taxi Rive-Sud uses proportionate safeguards, including limited access, request validation, anti-bot protection, reduced logging, and separation of secrets from public content. No transmission or storage method eliminates every risk.

Your rights and choices

You may request access to or correction or deletion of your information where the law allows. You may also withdraw consent for an optional use and make a complaint about how your information is handled.

A request should identify how you contacted Taxi Rive-Sud and provide enough information to locate the records, without sending sensitive documents through a public form. Proportionate identity verification may be required. Taxi Rive-Sud responds within applicable time limits and explains any refusal permitted by law.
